Visp est un portemanteau en tube d’acier cintré et laqué, imaginé par le designer Staffan Holm pour l’éditeur suédois Blä Station. Il a été dévoilé lors de la dernière Stockholm Furniture Fair.

Etonnant, cet objet sculptural se décline en quatre coloris: noir, blanc, bleu et rouge orangé. Il permet à la fois d’accrocher ses vêtements ou des cintres et, grâce à ses formes arrondies, évite que les manteaux et autres éléments que l’on y suspend ne se déforment.

Sa forme, nous dit le designer, revendique un sentiment paradoxal de simplicité et de complexité.

“A clothes hanger is not merely a hanger, but rather it is a sculpture that you can hang clothes on. It must look interesting both with and without anything hanging on it. The shape of Visp is inspired rhythmic gymnastics and old whisks. The spiral is one of the most intriguing shapes because of the fluidity and complexity combined with a paradox sense of simplicity. The beauty of Visp is that the simple line that becomes a intriguing spiral that bends around creates a sculpture that will brighten any room without taking over completely.”
